I was snoozing at first, but I gotta say, I think I like this – risky radio sound for ‘now,’ but then again so was ‘The Boy Is Mine’ at the time (and that worked out just fine for them) – one thing I can say for certain…get this audio track in the hands of the right mixer, most def a mega club hit:

New KATY PERRY Track ‘Part of Me’ to Debut at No. 1

Pretty damn impressive…and with this, looks like she will beat Michael Jackson’s record! Track was released on iTunes a few days ago, it is from her forthcoming album ‘Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection,’ due out March 27 – album is a re-release plus new tracks…so when this goes to no. 1, it counts as the sixth no. 1 off ‘Teenage Dream,’ topping MJ’s five no. 1s from an album, which she had already tied.

With approx 400,000-420,000 copies moved of the track, it marks her best sales week to date…and the best sales week since Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ debuted with 448K in its first week. Good news all around for KP - Congrats!
